Dr. Samuel Kojoglanian is an interventional cardiologist in Southern California.  Known as DR RAP, Dr. Sam is a heart doctor, rapper and author, reaching across generations who are desperately seeking answers in a broken world.

A graduate from the University of Southern California Medical School, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA.

He completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, becoming an interventional cardiologist.

After witnessing tragic trauma involving youth and their families in Southern California emergency rooms, DR RAP was inspired to intercept the violence and prevent it by incorporating his anti-violence and anti-drug message into rap form.  His first CD entitled Licensed to Heal was released in 1996.  A second CD entitled Cut to the Heart was released in 2001.  His most recent release, entitled Outrageous Healer, will truly warm your hearts.

Voted the most popular doctor in his hospital, his mission is to invest in the lives of people, honoring them with compassion, kindness and gentleness.  His passion is to repair, restore rebuild and renew the brokenhearted.  His desire is to encourage, uplift and love everyone he meets.

By visiting schools, prisons and youth events, DR RAP aspires to touch the hearts of a broken generation and challenge this generation to greatness by God’s grace.

Dr. Kojoglanian resides in Southern California; enjoys jogging, playing the sax, golf and basketball; collects model lighthouses; and loves to visit the ocean side.
